TRFPA Membership
Our Tallahassee Rural Fire Protection (TRFPA) is a non-profit
organization dedicated to serve and to protect lives and property. All of the
contributions go toward firefighting efforts. Your officers, board members, and
firefighters donate their time to help keep your property fire safe. Costs for
fighting fires are constantly increasing. Fuel, maintenance, vehicle upgrades,
training, and protective equipment are some of the costly items which are needed
in order to protect your property.
Our fire department has 20
firefighters who are willing to leave their jobs and families to respond to an
emergency within our very large 600 square mile area. Our area cover the
Hillside and Texas Creek areas, all of the Tallahassee area to the Stirrup
Ranch, State Highway 9 from Highway 50 to the Park County line, and all of the
area off of Fremont county Road 11 to the Teller County line. We have 5 fire
stations located throughout our area as well as several privately owned stations
that house fire apparatus.
The majority of our funding comes from our
members. We are committed to providing you with the best possible fire
protection. Since fire protection is everyone’s responsibility, we are asking
for your support. Please contribute so we may continue to provide the best
possible service for your and your families. The following is our suggested
yearly contribution.
LEVEL 1 (vacant land – no structures or improvements) $50.00
LEVEL 2 (any type of
structure or other improvement) $100.00
