Welcome

Founded in April 1999, the Tallahassee Volunteer Fire Protection (TVFP) is a volunteer fire department which serves Northwest Fremont County, Colorado, and specializes in wildland and urban interface fire fighting. TVFP is recognized across Fremont County and the state of Colorado as a top-notch rural fire department! We are supported by contributions from land owners and residents in our service area.  See the "Membership" section under "About Us" for details.

To report a fire in the TVFP service area, please call 911 or 719-275-3058. Please be prepared to give as exact a location as you can.
